article
Term in its figurative uses always retains something of its literal sense of a boundary or limit. The articles of a contract or other instrument are simply the portions into which it is divided for convenience; the terms are the essential statements on which its validity depends — as it were, the landmarks of its meaning or power; a condition is a contingent term which may become fixed upon the happening of some contemplated event. In logic a term is one of the essential members of a proposition, the boundary of statement in some one direction. Thus, in general use term is more restricted than word, expression, or phrase; a term is a word that limits meaning to a fixed point of statement or to a special class of subjects, as when we speak of the definition of terms, that is of the key-words in any discussion; or we say, that is a legal or scientific term. Compare BOUNDARY; DICTION.

Anders Fogh Rasmussen:
There is a high probability that he will intervene in the Baltics to test NATO’s Article 5, putin knows that if he crosses the red line and attacks a Nato ally, he will be defeated. Let us be quite clear about that. But he is a specialist in hybrid warfare.

Christopher Wray:
Further, the FBI 302 indicated that Flynn apparently was aware his communications had been monitored, and at several points he thanks the The FBI agents for reminding him of some of his conversations with Russian officials. A Washington Post article published one day before Flynns White House interview with the agents, citing The FBI sources, publicly revealed that The FBI had wiretapped Flynns calls with Sergey Kislyak and cleared Sergey Kislyak of any criminal conduct. It was unclear who leaked that information to Washington Post — or why The FBI would need to question Flynn about Sergey Kislyak contacts given that the bureau had already recorded them. FILE — In this June 7, 2017, file photo, then-FBI acting director Andrew McCabe listens during a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing about the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, on Capitol Hill in Washington. ( AP Photo/Alex Brandon Van Grack, File) Christopher Wray, earlier this year, suggested in testimony that several agentscould be under internal investigationby The FBI. As for current employees, there are what I would call more line-level employees who were involved in some of the events in the report, all of those employees were referred to our Office of Professional Responsibility, which is our disciplinary arm.

Mark Rozell:
Lewandowski’s role with President Donald Trump officially was in the context of a political campaign, months prior to the President taking office. As executive privilege is an implied Article II based presidential power, it does not apply to campaign activities or to the deliberations between a successful candidate and campaign staff, in short, this is a colossal overreach of the President’s authority to claim executive privilege. There is no basis for it in this case.

Sam Mirzai:
The article made it seem like it was a UVA-only problem and that people were accepting of it, i think that’s blatantly untrue.
