Согласитесь, что:

  • I’m a sucker for blondes.

гораздо точнее передает нюансы, чем

  • I like blondes.

… хотя смысл в общем-то, одинаковый.

Обратите внимание, что все эти фразы-синонимы like используются с разными предлогами. Это важно. То есть keen только с on, addicted только с to и так далее.

Еще один важный момент:

 
— все эти фразы можно использовать либо с существительными, либо с глаголами. А к глаголу нужно добавить -ing.
